随着生态环境的情况越来越恶劣，党和国家对生态文明建设越来越重视，党的十七大首次提出了建设生态文明的目标和任务，党的十八大明确提出“大力推进生态文明建设”，党的十八届三中全会将“加快生态文明制度建设”列入全面深化改革的重要内容。十八届中央全会提出“建设生态文明，必须建立系统完整的生态文明制度体系，用制度保护生态环境”。在新形势下，生态文明是构建和谐社会的重要目标。当代大学生是未来社会的主要建设者和参与者，理应成为生态环境保护的主力军，肩负起实现经济、社会可持续发展的重任。树立文明生活的理念，培养大学生生态文明素养势在必行。

With the increasingly severe ecological environment, the Party and government has attached more and more impor-tance to the construction of ecological civilization. The 17th Na-tional Congress of the CPC proposed the objectives and tasks of ecological civilization construction for the first time;the 18th Na-tional Congress of the CPC clearly pointed out"the vigorous con-struction of ecological civilization";the Third Plenary Session of the 18th Central Committee of the CPC listed"the acceleration of ecological civilization construction" as an important content for comprehensively deepening the reform. The 18th Central Commit-tee of the CPC proposed that"ecological civilization construction must be based on a systematical and complete ecological civiliza-tion system in order to protect ecological environment with the system". Under the new situation, ecological civilization is an im-portant goal of harmonious society construction. Contemporary college students are the main builders and participators of the fu-ture society, so they ought to be the main force of ecological envi-ronment protection, and shoulder the important task of promoting sustainable economic and social development. They should also establish the idea of civilized life, and develop the quality of eco-logical civilization.
