The typical example was introduced that reinforced concrete double curved arch bridge was demolished successfully by controlled blasting technology. Directional collapse blasting method was ap-plied to the bridge. According to the characteristics of the bridge ,blasting holes were arranged reasonable-ly and the single hole charge weight was calculated ,a drilling operation platform was set up ,inside and outside holes millisecond blasting network was used. Pier ,pier cap ,vertical wall ,arch foot and arch were blasted successfully.While blasting safety protection measures were well done ,the blasting flying rocks and vibration velocity were effectively controlled ,an ideal blasting result was achieved .
