Polysaccharide with a variety of biological activity plays an important role in the body,it has become one of the hot areas of research of many disciplines at home and abroad. From the aspects of the structure,classification and biological activity of polysaccharides and other research status of polysaccharides were summarized,polysaccharides as an important class of biologically active substances with anti-viral,anti-cancer,lowering blood pressure,improving the immune system and other biological functions. The research status of bioactive polysaccharide was analyzed,and the study of active microbial polysaccharides was discussed,so as to provide certain theoretical basis for the use of the research on bioactive polysaccharide.
