The structure of a large-scale aluminum alloy-the antenna backup structure is presented and some difficult and important technology problems emerging during welding processing are analyzed. According to structure characteristics of the aluminum alloy and combining with the welding condition, a reasonable welding processing plan is made after experiments, thus can resolve problems, such as welding deformation and size control. All the indexes of the aluminum alloy, according to the welding processing, meet the design requirements.
