It is the general trend of development of higher education that General universities will be transitioned to Universities of Applied Sciences in China, three primary questions, including fundamental task, crucial and breakthroughs in transformation & building of Universities of Applied Sciences, need to be answered. It was expound that the fundamental tasks of Universities of Applied Sciences were bringing up “Applied-Sciences-Graduates” and increasing competence service for the enterprises and society. The crucial and breakthroughs in transformation & building of Universities of Applied Sciences were constructing highly qualified and high proportion double-professional teaching staff and vigorously promoting the development of transverse scientific research subject, respectively.
