对原始凹凸棒进行KI溶液浸渍改性以制备高效廉价脱汞吸附剂。利用比表面积及孔隙度分析仪、扫描电子显微镜/X射线能谱分析仪以及X-射线衍射对改性前后凹凸棒吸附剂物理化学性质进行表征。在模拟烟气管道喷射实验装置上进行汞吸附脱除实验研究。KI 改性使碘有效地负载于凹凸棒表面,形成含碘活性官能团加强汞化学吸附,提高吸附剂汞脱除性能,较高的碘含量有利于汞吸附脱除。经2.5% KI 溶液处理后的凹凸棒在空气气氛下具有87.3%的汞脱除率,在模拟烟气中的汞脱除率提高到90.2%。

Chemical promoter KI solution was employed to modify the raw attapulgite in order to develop high efficiency and low cost sorbents for mercury removal in flue gas. The physical-chemical characteristics of sorbents after and before modification were analyzed by surface area and porosity analyzer, scanning electron microscopy and X-ray energy dispersive spectroscope (SEM/EDS), X-ray diffractometer (XRD). The modified sorbents were tested in an entrained flow reactor system to evaluate mercury removal efficiency under simulated flue gas condition. Impregnation of KI results in high iodine content on the sorbent’s surface which improved chemesorption through forming active iodine functional groups, enhancing mercury removal performance of sorbent. Mercury removal efficiency of 87.3% in air atmosphere is obtained by attapulgite modified by 2.5% KI solution, while an enhanced mercury removal efficiency of 90.2% is reached in simulated flue gas atmosphere.
