The high bearing temperature failure occurred during the 300 MW unit operation in Inner Mongolia Jingtai Power Co.,Ltd., and the failure phenomenon was introduced. The reasons for the failure were analyzed. By taking welding, repair and maintenance of the bearing, replacement of the top shaft oil pipe, as well as adjustment of the bearing clearance, tight force and other measures, the unit bearing temperature returned to normal, which protected the safety and stability of the unit operation.
