    Agricultural insurance as a risk management way for supporting agricultural production, it has been concerned by the government and academia. In this paper, based on field research, in-depth analysis of underlying causes for the insufficiency of effective supply and demand of agricultural insurance is conducted, and suggestions for improvement of financial subsidies mode are made.
