分布式电源和微电网的接入,给配电网继电保护提出了新的要求.为了缩短故障切除时间,保证动作的选择性和快速性,研发了基于DSP的广域保护装置,探索了CAN总线在广域保护中的应用.广域保护中不同位置的保护装置通过CAN总线交换信息,能够快速确定故障区域,明显缩短故障切除时间.对广域保护样机进行了实验研究,实验结果表明,CAN总线用于广域保护能提高继电保护性能.

The distributed generation and microgrid access make power distribution network protective relaying have new requirements. In order to shorten the time for clearing faults and to ensure selectivity and rapidity of trip, this paper developed a wide area protection device based on digital signal processor (DSP) and researched the application of controller area network (CAN) bus in wide area protection. The protection devices of different positions in wide area protection exchanged messages by CAN bus to determine the fault zone quickly, which distinctly shortened the time for clearing faults. A prototype of wide area protection was tested. The testing results indicate that the CAN bus can improve the protection quality.
