Taking some multi-rib continuous arc bridge as the example,the paper establishes two kinds of calculation models,analyzes its self-vi-bration features and internal stress and displacement rules of main controlling sections,and proves by the result that the skewback and pier sepa-ration can reduce the size of pier section and have the even distribution of seismic force of the arch pier.
