Through the analysis on the mechanism of loess collapse,this paper discussed the main failure modes of highway drainage facilities in loess area,discussed the construction measures of highway surface drainage facilities,central median drainage facilities,slope surface drainage facilities,in order to reduce the highway drainage failures.
