瘤转移是结直肠癌患者死亡的主要原因之一。 microRNA（ miRNA）对结直肠癌转移的作用包括调节肿瘤细胞上皮－间质转化、调控癌基因、抑癌基因以及肿瘤转移相关基因的表达等，通过与靶基因mRNA互补位点结合，在转录后水平调控靶基因的表达，进而调控肿瘤的发生、发展。近年来，越来越多的研究显示， miRNA在结直肠癌的侵袭转移中起重要的作用，有望成为结直肠癌治疗的新靶点。
