As the quantity of electric power project is increasing, the management of it is more difficult, and the risks are increasing. So, how to reduce the risk and loss is the key point of current consideration. At the first, this paper introduces the current situation of electric power engineering from the domestic and international aspects, points out the existing risk in electric power engineering project in China and mainly analyzes the specific measures and application of the risk management of electric power engineering project in China to provide references for the development of electric power enterprises.
