In the this article observation and test have been done for thick dark grey stripe found in 7A04 aluminum alloy pre-stretched, in the aspects of macrostructure, microstructure, mechanical properties, anodic oxidation, heat treatment and etc., that proves thick dark gray stripe in 7A04 45mm pre-stretched is that the compound quantity is higher than other parts, and dark gray stripe does not affect on the mechanical properties of 7A04 45mm pre-stretched thick plate, but it affects the appearance quality of plate processing.At the same time, the reasons of the dark gray stripe are discussed.
