冀航芝3号是河北省农林科学院粮油作物研究所利用航天育种技术经系统选择育成的芝麻新品种。2011~2012年连续2 a参加全国（北方片）芝麻品种区域试验，平均产量为1072.80 kg/hm2，较对照品种冀芝1号增产17.88%，增产点次率为66.67%；2013年参加全国芝麻品种生产试验，平均产量为1171.05 kg/hm2，较对照品种冀芝1号增产5.57%，增产点次率为66.67%。该品种粗脂肪和粗蛋白平均含量分别为53.45%和22.90%；茎点枯病平均发病率为57.79%，在全国（北方片）芝麻品种区域试验参试品种中发病率最低。2014年3月通过全国芝麻品种鉴定委员会鉴定（鉴定编号：国品鉴芝麻2014002）。

Jihangzhi No.3 was a new sesame variety bred and selected by space breeding technology and through the ground systematic selection and breeding by Institute of Cereal and Oil Crops, Hebei Academy of Agriculture and Forestry Sciences.The average yield was 1 072.80 kg/hm2 in the national regional tests from 2011 to 2012, which increased by 17.88% than Jizhi No.1.The average content of crude fat and crude protein was 53.45% and 22.90%,respectively.The variety was resistant to charcoal rot with the incidence of 57.79% which was the lowest in the varieties tested.In the national production test in 2013, the average yield was 1 171.05 kg/hm2, which was 5.57% higher than Jizhi No.1.The yield increased in 66.67% of the experimental spots.It was approved by National Sesame Varieties Identification Committee in March 2014,the approval number was Guopinjian Sesame 2014002.
