语言的对比分析建立在语言学与心理学的基础上，目的是预测语言错误，减少语言负迁移。它是通过比较来寻求两种语言的共时现象以揭示不同语言的发展规律，因而在翻译中起到非常重要的作用。翻译教学是大学英语课程教学的重要组成部分，而目前的大学英语翻译教学不能满足对学生翻译能力培养的要求。只有重视英汉对比的研究，改革大学英语翻译教学，才能更有力的提高学生翻译水平。

Contrastive analysis of language was established on the basis of linguistics and psychology with the purpose of predic-ting errors and reducing negative -transfer in language.It searches the synchronicity and reveals the different rules of language development through the comparison between two languages,thus it plays an important role in translation.Translation teaching is a necessary component part of college English teaching,but the present translation teaching in colleges cannot meet the needs of cultivating translation abilities of college students.Only when attaching more importance to contrastive analysis between Eng-lish and Chinese to reform college English teaching on translation can translation level of college students be enhanced.
