郑之侨自乾隆五年起，连续三年为鹅湖书院制定了《鹅湖学规说》《辛酉戒诸生八则》和《壬戌示诸生十要》三个学规，构成了完整的鹅湖书院学规体系，明确了鹅湖书院办学的宗旨，对书院的教与学作了详细规范，对学生的德行和学业提出了明确要求，对书院的育人产生了积极影响，鹅湖书院学规也是郑之侨一生教育经验的总结。
정지교자건륭오년기，련속삼년위아호서원제정료《아호학규설》《신유계제생팔칙》화《임술시제생십요》삼개학규，구성료완정적아호서원학규체계，명학료아호서원판학적종지，대서원적교여학작료상세규범，대학생적덕행화학업제출료명학요구，대서원적육인산생료적겁영향，아호서원학규야시정지교일생교육경험적총결。
Since the 5th year of the reign of Emperor Qianlong ,ZHENG Zhi-qiao had established three school regulations for Erhu Academy for three years in a row ,On Erhu’s School Regulation ,Eight Disciplines for Students of Chinese Xin -you year ,and Ten Demands for Students of Chinese Ren -xu year ,all of which formed a complete school regulation system for Erhu Academy ,defined the school mission of Erhu Academy ,and had a positive influence on the education of Erhu Academy .The school regulations for Er-hu Academy are also a summary of ZHENG’s educational experience .
