外护层作为保护电缆的第一道防线,若其损伤可能引起金属护套腐蚀和环流的异常增加,并危及主绝缘健康。电缆投运多年后,其外护层绝缘下降通常并不影响电缆的正常运行,然而地下电缆敷设环境复杂多变且设计质量参差不齐,使得在某些情况下(如桥架敷设)外护层缺陷长期发展至破损,短期内就会引起严重的事故。通过获取广州地区外护层绝缘电阻状态监测数据,针对单芯电缆接地方式的差别对外护层绝缘缺陷进行分类,进而在不同敷设方式下,根据外护层绝缘缺陷的发展速度及对电缆运行的影响程度,提出了单芯电缆外护层绝缘缺陷的差异化检修策略,可应用于输电电缆实际运行中的外护层故障判断、绝缘检修等。

The outer sheath of high voltage cable is the first defense line of cable. If it is damaged, it would cause the corrosion of metal sheath and abnormal increase of circulating current. Meanwhile, its broken may endanger the health of main insulation. After the cable is put into operation many years, the decrease of outer sheath insulation does not affect the normal operation of cable in most cases. However, the laying environment of cable is complicated and its design quality is uneven, in some cases (such as bridge laying), the long-term outer sheath defects develops to damage, which will cause serious accident in short term. This paper obtains the resistance monitoring data of outer sheath in Guangzhou, and classi-fies the insulation defects of outer sheath according to the difference of grounding method. According to the development rate of insulation defects in outer sheath and the impact degree on the operation of cable under different laying ways, the differential maintenance strategy of insulation defects in the outer sheath of single-core cable was proposed. The strategy can be used in the judgment of outer sheath fault and insulation repair of power cable.
