The paper introduces the technical characteristics and operation effect of lime-gypsum process of desulfuriza-tion technology applied in 4#265m2 sintering machine of Laiwu Branch of Shandong Iron & Steel Co., Ltd. Through a series of technical measures, the “problems of gypsum rain” and system corrosion are effectively solved. This technology is used in the sintering machine desulfurization, the technology is mature and the operation is stable. Sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxides as wel as particulate matters can comply with the emission standards.
