The preparation methods of organic-inorganic nanocomposite materials were reviewed. The ad-vantage and research development in textile finishing of direct dispersion method, sol-gel method, two-phase polymerization method, in-situ generation and disposition method, molecular self-assembly method, ultrason-ic chemical method and γ-radiation method were mainly introduced. Moreover, the fundamental principles of different treatment methods of organic-inorganic nanocomposite materials in textile finishing were analyzed, and the future trends of organic-inorganic nanocomposite materials in textile finishing were also prospected. The function stability, short process, multifunctional, simple operation and eco-friendly property was believed to be the future development direction of textile finishing.
