Based on the construction of steel pipe pile sinking for highway and railway combined bridge over the Pingtan Strait of newly built railway from Fuzhou to Pingtan,this paper introduced how to select the pile sinking equipment under different geological conditions,and summarized the method and technique of pile sinking,which could provide a good refer-ence for similar offshore steel pipe pile sinking in future.
