当事人自行和解是公安机关处理因民间纠纷引起治安行政案件一种重要的纠纷解决方式。当事人自行和解的适用，必须是符合法律、法规和规章的规定，因民间纠纷引起，情节较轻，可以调解处理的治安行政案件，当事人自行和解并履行和解协议；当事人双方以书面形式向公安机关提出申请，经公安机关对当事人自行和解依法审查予以认可的，不予治安管理处罚。

Conciliation by the parties themselves is an important way of dispute settlement adopted by public security organs to settle the security administrative cases caused by disputes among the people. The application of conciliation by the parties themselves must comply with law and regulations. And the parties could become reconciled by themselves and carry out the transaction because the security administrative cases were caused by disputes among the people and they might not be serious enough. Both parties could put in request to the public security organs in writing, the public security organs will examine it by law, and the recognized one will not be punished administratively.
