The university stage is important period in the development of life, is the key to the outlook on life, world outlook, the values formation period. From the psychological development level, college students are in a rapidly maturing and not yet fully mature stage, they are eager to know themselves and improve themselves, realize self-worth. This paper discusses the college mental health education as a result of social development, diversification of values of college students' values imbalance and other issues, put forward the socialist core values in the new period in the guiding significance of college students' mental health education.
