With the continuous transformation and upgrading of the equipment manufacturing industry in Tangshan, the level of demand for machinery and technical personnel is also increasing. With the implementation of mechanical specialty in secondary and higher vocational education to improve the quality of talent cultivation. This paper mainly analyzes the problems existing in the aspects of training objectives, curriculum system, teaching material, teaching and evaluation mode of secondary and higher vocational education in Tangshan area, and puts forward the basic idea that should be used in practice.
