漕丁“外迁”与“脱籍”“逃亡”共同造成了乾道间“丁情孤睽”的局面。出于政策支持与逃避漕务的双重考虑，大量湖广漕丁选择迁往四川，成为“湖广填四川”移民潮的一部分。外迁漕丁名虽在籍而身不在乡，对原籍漕务恃远抗避，百般推延。然在迁入之地，外迁漕丁们与当地大姓联姻，鼓励子孙们考取“文武”功名，在摆脱漕务之苦的同时积极参与当地各项事务，成为影响一时的地方精英。

조정“외천”여“탈적”“도망”공동조성료건도간“정정고규”적국면。출우정책지지여도피조무적쌍중고필，대량호엄조정선택천왕사천，성위“호엄전사천”이민조적일부분。외천조정명수재적이신불재향，대원적조무시원항피，백반추연。연재천입지지，외천조정문여당지대성련인，고려자손문고취“문무”공명，재파탈조무지고적동시적겁삼여당지각항사무，성위영향일시적지방정영。
Because of outside migration,leaving native places and escape of the persons who engaged in transporting grain by water,the number of these people heavily decreased during the period of emperor Qianlong and emperor Daoguang. Owing to policy support and avoiding the business of transporting gain by water,a large number of these people in Hunan and Guandong chose to migrate to Sichuan province, becoming a part of the emigration of “Hu-guang filling in Sichuan”. Although registering in their native places,these people of outside migration did not live there. So they resisted or delayed the tasks of “canal transportation” in their native places. Connected to the local prominent families by marriage in local place,the immigrants encouraged their children and grandchildren to obtain“civil and military” fame. While they got rid of the pain of “transporting by water”,they actively participated in the local affairs and became the influential local elites.
