Mao Zedong′s thought on peace, which is mainly reflected in three aspects:on military peace, on politi-cal peace and on diplomatic peace, is an important part of the theory of socialism with Chinese characteristics. At present, the trend of world multi-polarization and the game of the big country become increasingly intense. As a result,to study the peace theory of Mao Zedong and grasp the essence of the theory may be of great significance to the guiding of the practice of Chinese social development. Specifically, one is to promote peace with deterrence, another is to unite other friendly coun-tries to promote peace, and the third is to promote peace through consultation.
