The immersed tube floating installation in the Hongkong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge island & tunnel project is a systemic engineering, which integrating various complex technologies with a lot of risks. The first and second outfitting of tube elements are the important parts of the system, its fit and unfit quality directly related to the success of the floating, installation, and docking of immersed tube. In order to ensure the safe docking of immersed tube, we analyzed the risk factor of immersed tube outfitting construction, described the risk management and control measures of the construction. By the verification of 20 tube elements, a series measures are effective, have guaranteed the successful floating installation of immersed tubes.
