A calucation software for isothermal transformation of low alloy steel has been developed with JAVA language on the basis of the effect of alloy elements on the isothermal trasformation temperature of low carbon steel. The software can calculate rapidly the equivalent value of the isothermal transformation of low alloy steel containing different elements and draw out the isothermal transformation diagram, which guides the establishment of heat treatment parameters for low alloy steel.
