采用铸造模拟软件ProCAST研究多种铸造工艺参数对板状铸钢件补缩距离的影响, 包括冷铁的使用, 板状件的宽厚比, 铸件的化学成分, 以及浇铸温度等. 研究结果表明, 冷铁对板状件的冒口区基本没有影响, 而末端区长度随着冷铁厚度的增大逐渐增长, 且增长趋势逐渐变平缓; 同种材料的板状件, 冒口区和末端区的长度均随着宽厚比的增加而增加, 当宽厚比达到某一临界值之后补缩距离不再增加; 化学成分以及过热度对板状件补缩的影响相似, 但不同情况下的最大补缩长度不同.

ProCast, a casting simulation software, was used to study the effect of casting parameters on the feeding distance of steel plate castings, including application of chill irons, width-to-thickness ratio of plate castings, chemical composition and pouring temperature. The study reveals that chill irons have little effect on the riser zone and the end zone of castings grows with the increase of the thickness of chill irons and the growth slows down gradualy. The riser and end zones of plate castings made of same material become longer with the increase of the width-to-thickness ratio of plate castings. The feeding distance stops increasing when the width-to-thickness ratio reaches a critical value. The chemcial composition and superheat have similar effect on the feeding of plate castings. The maximum feeding distance varies for different conditions.
