通过对莆田市白沙镇坪盘村实地调查及走访,运用SWOT分析法(优劣势分析法)对坪盘村现有的自然环境、基础设施、交通条件、农家特色等进行生态旅游开发分析,找出坪盘村生态旅游开发存在的问题,探讨坪盘村旅游功能分区及主要发展类型,提出其开发原则,并针对生态旅游开发存在的问题提出相应对策,为坪盘村生态旅游开发提供重要参考依据.

Through first - hand field study in Pingpan village of Baisha town in Putian City, a SWOT (Strengths Weakness Opportunity Threats) analysis for Pingpan village as an ecotourism attraction is under-taken. The village' s existing natural environment, infrastructure, transport conditions, and distinguishing features of the farmhouses are analysed. The challenge for ecotourism development of Pingpan Village is iden-tified and solutions to the existed issues are suggested. The tourism functional divisions and suitable main de-velopment types are discussed. The development principles are proposed. The study provides important refer-ence basis for ecotourism development of Pingpan village.
