Based on the statistical analysis of water inrushes in Cuimu Coal Mine , the mechanism of roof water inrush was researched .Using the traditional formula and multi-factor fitting formula , the water fractured zone height was calculated and compared, and the fractured zone height/mining thickness ratio was determined .
