The zero-gap transformation plans of BiTAC ion-exchange membrane electrolyzers were introduced. Matters needing attention in the transformation and in subsequent operation were proposed. The running conditions of electrolyzers transformed by different ways and the running conditions of electrolyzers with different ion-exchange membrane were compared.
