Slender high-strength stainless steel connecting rods are difficult to machine due to the complicated construction, high dimension precision and tight shape and position tolerance. The material and construction of connecting rods make them prone to deformation during machining. A scientific and resonable machining technique is establised on the basis of technical analysis and tests.
