The experiments prove that pressure gradient exist in tight reservoir. As natural output of the tight reservoir is low,it is helpful to research the influence of the start-up pressure gradient on the capacity,which can provide the basis for forecasting change rules of production dynamics. This paper presents the determination and capacity expressions of start-up pressure gradient. The results show that both start-up pressure gradient and permeability exert influence on capacity and the former effect curve is declined.
