This paper provided improvement in thin layer chromatography (TCL) qualitative method through optimizing type and proportion of developing solvent, enhancing separation effect, and raising quality standard of Keteling capsules. On condition of developing solvent optimization was chloroform:methyl alcohol:strong anmonia (15:1:0.1), TCL showed remarkable feature, strong specificity, good repeatability, and creditable results.
