Along with the large-scale constructing of infrastructures in China, the pipeline is widely used, and the economic loss due to the corrosion of pipeline is enormous. The research shows that economic loss caused by the pipeline corrosion is about 5% of GDP in China, and it is much higher than the level of developed countries, so the research on pipeline corrosion in China is very important. In this paper, various causes of the pipeline corrosion were analyzed and studied, and corresponding solutions were put forward.
