This paper analyzes main problems of plates -heating furnace before model optimization. Through taking such actions as optimizing plate length measurement before furnace,plate tracking inside furnace,furnace temperature &pressure control,the system function is made more perfect and the equip-ment operation is more stable and the furnace automation level is enhanced and good results are achieved.
