The relationship between structure and performance of solution styrere-butadiene rubber (SSBR) was introduced. And the modification methods of SSBR were summarized. In the end, some in-chain modification methods, including epoxidation, grafting, copolymerzation with other polar monomer, were also presented. And the prospect of modification technologies of SSBR was discussed.
