The rapid excavation technology of rock roadway is becoming a bottleneck of production safely and efficiently. Statuses, features, scopes of application of current various excavation technologies were described based on current environment in China coal mining. Finally the paper analyzed trends of the technology of blasting methods according to four aspects, such as the equipment configuration, construction tech-nology, process management and construction organization.
