大型园区网络中存在大量的移动访问需求,智能移动设备在访问基于XM L的Web服务时普遍面临传输时间及能量消耗大的问题。提出了一种基于EXI(Efficient XML Interchange)的、适应智能移动终端资源受限特点的数据交换模型,采用UML模型进行了形式化描述,分析了Web服务信息的EXI编码、解码过程;基于该模型开发了校园移动学习应用系统,实验结果表明经过EXI编码后的数据传输量和传输时间显著减少,服务调用时间及移动智能设备电量损耗亦无显著增加。

In a large‐scale campus network ,large amounts of mobile data are exchanged frequently .The transmission time and energy are consumed significantly w hen a number of smart mobile devices simultaneously access the XM L‐based Web services .In this paper ,a data exchange model is proposed based on EXI (Efficient XM L Interchange ) standard . T his model could be applied to smart mobile devices to efficiently access the web services .The UML models are used in formalization descriptions of the exchange model and the process of EXI encoding is also analyzed .Base on the proposed model ,a campus mobile learning system was developed to check the improved efficiency of the model . Experimental results reveal that both the amount of transmission data and time required for accessing the web services are reduced considerably while the whole invoking time and mobile devices energy are likely no t increased .
