Taking the coal-fired generating unit of the first-stage project of a certain power plant as an example, this paper analyzes the hidden troubles existing in the power source of unit’s jacking oil pump, expounds the necessity of the transformation of the power source of jacking oil pump, introduces in detail the transformation plan of the power source of jacking oil pump and the operating procedures after the transformation, and through the test, verifies the feasibility of power source’s transformation plan and the reliability after the transformation.
