Since 2010 ,when the pansan west wind shaft water plugging ,the ventilation ability of the mine hasdropped. The formation and operation of new west wind shaft ventilation system is the assur-ance of realizing safety and efficient production mine. The modification of the design scheme of wind well safety facilities ,the research of construction technique ,and the reasonable organization and im-plementation has made new west wind switch smoothly and safely under the complex condition of modifying and constructing and improve the ventilation system of new west wind shaft ultimately.
