    The thesis describes the problems existing in the economic development work of local universities of science and technology service areas and then analyzes the favorable and unfavorable factors of these areas . Based on these , it puts forward some suggestions like safeguard measures and enhancing the services level of science and technology management to improve the quality of services in these areas .
