文章基于生物医药、仪器仪表、计算机及通信等电子设备制造业三个高新技术行业上市公司2008-2013年面板数据的初始样本,对高校技术独董对高新技术行业上市公司技术创新的影响进行了实证研究,探讨了高新技术行业上市公司聘任高校技术独董的现状和重要性。通过运用倾向评分匹配(PSM)法形成配对样本并建立模型进行实证研究。实证结果显示,高校技术独董对企业技术研发投资的影响显著为正,且其对高研发强度企业的正影响更大,说明高校技术独董可发挥技术专家的决策咨询及建议和校企协同创新的桥接中介等作用,促进企业扩大研发投资,因此高新技术企业特别是高研发强度企业应充分利用高校技术专家的作用,积极聘任高校技术专家作为企业独董,以更有效地提升企业的技术创新能力。

The effects of technical independent directors in universities on the innovation from listed enterprises of high-tech indu-stries, such as such as bio-medicine, instrumentation, and computer, telecommunication & electronic equipment industry, has been empirically studied based on panel date of initial samples from 2008 to 2013. Also , the result shows that it is important nowadays to en-gage technical independent directors, especially for high-tech or listed enterprises. In order to process the empirical research, Propen-sity Score Matching(PSM) method is used, and empirical model is established. The empirical results show that the effects of university technical independent director on R&D investment for enterprises are positive , especially it is more influential for the enterprises with higher intensity of R&D investment. The results suggest that university technical independent directors can promote R&D investment as exerting technical experts to provide advises and decisions , and they are bridge-connected agents of university-enterprises collaborative innovation. So high-tech enterprises, especially those with higher intensity of R&D investment, should take advantage of the technical knowledge of university technical experts, and appoint actively university technical experts to be independent director to improve inno-vative ability more effectively.
