Objective To investigate the clinical effect of calcium alginate dressing on the wound surface in the donor site. Methods 80 cases of skin injury in Heilongjiang hospital from May 2011 to October 2014 were selected. The patients were randomly divided into observation group and control group with 40 cases in each group. Respectively with calcium alginate dressing and vaseline gauze treatment skin donor site, observe two groups of patients with skin donor site wound healing time, donor skin area exudation, patients with pain during dressing changes, the frequency of changing dressings.ResultsTwo groups of patients for skin healing. In the observation group, the skin area of the control group was between 5 cm×10 cm to 10 cm×15 cm. In the observation group, the healing time of skin graft was shortened, the number of dressing change was reduced, and the leakage of donor skin was decreased. Conclusion Compared with ordinary vaseline dressing, calcium alginate dressing has obvious advantages for donor site wounds.
