选矿废水水量大,含较高浓度的悬浮颗粒、重金属离子和浮选药剂等有毒有害物质,直接外排会给农田、生态环境及人类身体健康带来很大风险。浓缩澄清、絮凝沉淀、中和沉淀和尾矿库自然降解等是我国目前选矿废水处理与回用的主要技术,但工程上还存在回用水水质水量不稳定、污染物累积、管道结垢、外排水部分污染物指标不能达标和二次污染等问题。研发低成本选矿废水处理新技术,加强矿山选矿废水管理,有助于实现矿山选矿废水零排放。

Effluent of large quantity of mineral processing wastewater has higher risk for farm ,eco‐environmentand human health because of the wastewater containing high concentration suspended sold ,heavy ions and many chemicals used in flotation process .Thickening and clarification , flocculation ,neutralization precipitation and tailing pond treatment are employed to clean the mineral process wastewater and reuse it in many process .Because of unstable quality and quantity of recycled water ,accumulation of pollutants in recycled water ,pipe line clogged because of scaling ,some pollutants in the effluent higher than emission standard and second pollution hinder the application of those technologies ,so inorder to realize the goal of zero effluent ,it is necessary to research and develop new lower cost wastewater treatment technology and improve the management of mineral processing wastewater .
