Several kinds of slag flushing processes are being used by blast furnace in General Ironmaking Plant of Angang Steel Co., Ltd., indicating that these processes are complicated and varied. So according to different characteristics of these processes, all those problems which can influence the overflow of slag flushing water was analyzed and thus improvement measures were proposed. After these measures are taken the internal dynamic balance for the slag flushing water is achieved so that the zero emission of the slag flushing water can also be gradually achieved.
