3D printing technology is an emerging technology, which combines computer 3-dimensional (3D) im-aging technology with multistrata continuous printing technology. The principle is to manufacture 3D entity using a hierar-chical processing way. The application of 3D printing technology has made some progress in the medical field, especially in the clinical medicine. More and more people are familiar with its utilization. The article is mainly to review the appli-cation of 3D printing technology in the basic medicine such as organ transplantation, vascular studies and tumor research.
