作为高校思想政治理论课重要组成部分的《中国近现代史纲要》，不仅是一门历史课，着眼于对历史传统教育的继承和发展，而且是一门思想政治理论课，承担着对广大青年学生的历史教育，在当代大学生成长、成才的过程中发挥着重要作用。然而，在实际的教学实践中存在着教学效果弱化的现象，因此，必须在明确“纲要”课程的地位和作用的基础上，依托课程建设平台，结合当前课程教学中存在的一些问题，不断创新“纲要”课程发展的有效途径和方法，具体表现为：三位一体，自讲互评；善用民间档案文化资源，广泛实践。

As an important component of ideological and political theory course in universities,“Chinese Modern History”is not only a history course focusing on the historical inheritance and development of traditional education, but also an ideological and political course shouldering the task of young student’s history education which plays an important role in the process of the contemporary college student’s growing and being talent. However,the phe-nomenon of the teaching effectiveness weakened common exists in actual teaching practice. Therefore,it is necessa-ry relying on course construction to definitude its status and role and innovate effective ways. The countermeasures are as follows:trinity,self-talk and peer assessment,extensive practice and taking good use of Folk Archive.
