法律翻译教学研究在我国尚处于起步阶段，亟待对教学法问题进行有效的实验和探索。研究将体裁教学法运用于MTI法律翻译的教学中，具体探讨了体裁教学法的实施模式和教学效果。结果显示，以培养体裁能力为途径的体裁教学法有效地提高了学习者的翻译能力。

Given that legal translation teaching is a relatively new research area in China, there is an urgent need to explore the pedagogical possibilities.The present research discusses in detail the implementation of a genre-based teaching model which significantly improves the MTI students'translation performance via the enhancement of their generic compe-tence.
